Just to let you know that you have on your books here a gem. We know Islamlar well having stayed there before and booked primarily for that reason. Location of the villa within the village could not be better and the view down to the coast is simply stunning. You get a feeling of seclusion without being far out of the village centre for meals and the general store.
Restaurants in the village are basic but the standard of food and service is excellent – our favourite is the roof terrace of Pinarbasi opposite the mosque.
Rudi and his entire family were wonderful – mum's stuffed vine leaves were fantastic!
The villa itself is a delight with high quality specification set in the grounds of the family's smallholding. The pool overlooks the well-stocked gardens and is lovely to cool off.
Even the roads have had a major overhaul – smooth tarmac all the way up to Islamlar!!
Lots more villas around since we were last there two years ago. Let's hope it doesn't go too far and spoil a magical place.
