Fantastic holiday in Villa Panorama - Jeanette Ofei-kwatia
We stayed in Villa Panorama in August. What a lovely villa. Our Teenage/young adult children felt like celebrities. The villa was clean and the bedrooms large and airy. The air condition was a godsend and worked well.
The kitchen was well equipped and the outside area, private with plenty of seats and tables. The view, especially at sunset is amazing. The pool is kept clean without even noticing the pool cleaner.
To stay in this villa you really need to hire a car. We walked up the very steep hill at the back of the villa to the local village, Akbel and found it quite hard even though we are quite fit. The local village sells everything you may need and the market once a week is excellent for fruit and veg.
The baker for the Kalkan area is in the village so we purchased delicious freshly cooked bread cheaply. Kalkan is not far down the hill but it takes a main road to get there. Takes about 10 minutes.
The best thing about the rental is Rudi at KALKAN EXPERIENCE. He met us on the first day and spent time answering questions and giving information. He organised the hire cars and even lent us his apple TV. When ever we had a query/problem he was very quick to respond.
We had a meal at his friends restaurant Samphire which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Rudi and I would thoroughtly recommend this villa and also Kalkan experience. We will be going back to Kalkan it is beautiful.
